Trevor Torgerson manages sales and operations at Heating & Cooling Two, the family-owned heating and cooling company that has been keeping homes in Maple Grove and the northwest Twin Cities comfortable since 1980.
Most days, Trevor is the person homeowners talk to when a furnace or air conditioner is nearing the end of its life. He walks families through their options — repair or replace, single-stage or modulating, what rebates apply, and what a new system will actually change in the house — and he works behind the scenes to keep the install and service schedule running smoothly for our NATE-certified technicians and in-house sheet metal shop.
His goal with every conversation is the same one the company was built on: tailor the recommendation to the actual job, tell the truth about repair versus replace, and put people ahead of profit. The articles he writes here grew out of the questions he hears on estimates every week, from frozen vent pipes after a January storm to what really happens on furnace replacement day.
